Specific Target Groups
The EU-COLMEV project targets several key groups involved in energy education, higher education, industry, and sustainable development:
University Teachers and Academic Staff – Particularly educators involved in renewable energy and sustainable development who will develop, use, and co-create digital learning materials and improve their teaching capabilities.
University Students and Learners – Students in energy-related programmes who will benefit from updated courses, digital resources, remote laboratories, and challenge-based learning.
Industry Professionals and Employees – Professionals who can access relevant courses, training, and learning resources developed in collaboration with the energy industry.
Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development Industries – Companies and industry stakeholders participating in round-table discussions, challenges, course development, and other academic activities.
Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) – Particularly universities offering or developing programmes in renewable energy and sustainable development, which will benefit from updated curricula, remote laboratories, educational resources, and quality improvement processes.
Women and Female Learners – The project specifically promotes gender equality and aims to improve women’s access to and participation in energy education.
Socially Excluded and Underserved Communities – Including people facing cultural, socioeconomic, or geographical barriers, particularly those living in remote areas with limited access to higher education.
Government and Policy Stakeholders – Government stakeholders engaged through recommendations and activities related to sustainable development and national education and energy-related frameworks.
Academic and International Education Networks – Universities and educators outside the core consortium who can participate in the EEDA network as developers, reviewers, and users of educational materials.
